Role Overview:

As a startup company, we are looking for an experienced Accountant/ Controller to help mobilize our finance and accounting business function. Ideal candidates should have experience setting up financial operations for clinical research trial sites. Consequently, successful candidates will play a leadership role in working with management to design, develop, and manage the Finance and Accounting (F&A) function.

Responsibilities:

Ensure strict compliance with financial agreements and study protocols to uphold regulatory standards and organizational integrity.
Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
Establish and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, guaranteeing transaction accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate in the development of comprehensive Financial Models in Excel, providing insights for strategic decision-making
Demonstrate strong communication skills, including writing effectively, to convey financial information and collaborate with team members
utilize problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and optimize financial processes for efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

5 plus years of experience working preferably in with clinical trial sites or site networks, will also consider experience working with CROs and pharma services companies.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
Proficiency in project-based accounting
Experience with QuickBooks is a plus

Role Overview:

The Clinical Research Coordinator oversees clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They manage protocol development, participant recruitment, data collection, collaborating with investigators and sponsors. Handling site operations, budgets, and contracts, their attention to detail is crucial for maintaining research integrity and advancing medical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Conduct feasibility surveys to communicate the capabilities of our clinical trial sites to sponsors and CROs.
Provide training on International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations.
Coordinate space layout and procure necessary equipment for clinical trial sites.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for site operations.
Create and maintain source documents for clinical trials.
Assist in contract and budget negotiations with sponsors and vendors.
Prepare and submit regulatory documents for Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval, both for Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT) and sponsor-initiated trials.
Configure technology systems such as CRIO Veeva SiteVault for eSource and other CTMS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including investigators, sponsors, and regulatory authorities.
Manage projects and ensure attention to detail throughout the clinical trial process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health care discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-5 years’ experience as a clinical research coordinator
Competency in FDA/ISO/ICH/GCP regulations/compliance
Strong project management skills, data management skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in using clinical trial software and tools
Detail-oriented, with a focus on data accuracy and compliance

Travel Requirements:

Able to travel via airplane, train, or motor vehicle to respective research sites or investigator meetings.
Must be able to travel out of the local office or from home up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays at hotels or other designated facilities.
Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.

Position Overview:
The ASD Clinical Research Investigator will work with designated clinical practice sites as a principal investigator, co-investigator, or sub-investigator to conduct clinical research studies focused on autism spectrum disorder. The Investigator will collaborate with our Clinical Operations team on the direction and oversight of clinical research studies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and study protocols to deliver high-quality research output.

Investigator’s key responsibilities include:

Participant Welfare:

Ensure that the welfare and health of all study participants are prioritized at all times during every aspect of the study.

Participant Evaluation:

Allocate sufficient time to thoroughly examine and evaluate study participants as required by FDA regulations.
Ensure timely assessments and evaluations to meet study timelines and standards.

Adverse Event Reporting:

Promptly inform the company of any adverse events or reactions in study participants.
Collaborate with the company to perform appropriate reporting procedures and generate necessary documentation.
Follow up on adverse events or reactions in accordance with sponsor and company requirements.

Protocol Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all study protocols, following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Implement and comply with the company’s instructions, procedures, and policies as directed.
Abide by the terms and conditions of study-specific contracts with sponsors.
Help ensure that records related to the studies, equipment and the study drugs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Meet with representatives from the company, sponsors, or the FDA to discuss or review studies upon reasonable notice.
Permit onsite visits from company or sponsor representatives to evaluate compliance with procedures and study protocols.

Performance Evaluation:

Cooperate with periodic study-specific evaluations of your performance conducted by the company or sponsors.
Participate in company or sponsor-developed systems for data collection, monitoring, and compilation to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of quality services.

Qualifications:

MD, DO, PhD, or an equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field.
Extensive clinical research experience, including as a principal investigator or sub-investigator.
Proven track record of successful study management and completion.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in data management and analysis tools.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
Valid medical license (if applicable).
